Dr. Mahalaxmi Sekar
Title: Vital Pulp Therapy - Revisited
She completed her graduation and post-graduation in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics in 1986 from Government Dental College, Ahmedabad. She is currently Professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics at SRM Dental College, Chennai, where she has served for over 18 years and mentored more than 100 postgraduate students.
With over 160 publications in reputed indexed journals (h-index 26; i10-index 58), she is also the author of the widely acclaimed textbook Materials Used in Dentistry, published by Wolters Kluwer India. She additionally serves as a PhD supervisor at SRM Institute of Science & Technology.
Dr. Gopi Krishna V.
Title: Endodontic Era: What the future beholds
He is an academician and clinician of international repute in the field of endodontics. He completed his bachelor’s degree (BDS) in Dentistry from Annamalai University in 1997 and went on to complete his Masters degree (MDS) in the field of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics in 2002 from the Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai. He was conferred the Best Postgraduate Student Award by the Indian Endodontic Society in 2002. He completed his PhD in the field on Endodontics from Dr MGR Educational & Research Institute University in 2017. Dr Gopi Krishna is the Founder – Director of the Root Canal Foundation – an exclusive endodontic practice cum training centre based at Chennai, India. Root Canal Foundation also conducts its flagship endodontic training modules at Yangon (Myanmar), Guwahati (India) and Bhubaneswar (India) along with collaborative partners.

Dr. Balendra Pratap Singh
Title: Integrating Evidence-Based Practice Across Dental Specialties
He is a distinguished prosthodontist, academician, and researcher with significant contributions to evidence-based dentistry and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. He is known for promoting evidence synthesis and innovative research methodologies, serving as the Director of Cochrane India and a technical leader at KGMU. An active educator and global thought leader, he has achieved historic milestones as the first Indian on the editorial board of The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and a recipient of the International College of Prosthodontists’ research award. His work continues to bridge high-impact research and clinical care, enhancing standards in dental sciences through extensive publications and patents.
Dr. Harinath Parthasarathy
Title: Soft Tissue Augmentation: Shaping the Pink Framework of Success
He is a Professor and Postgraduate Guide in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Implantology at SRM Dental College, Chennai, with over 22 years of academic and clinical experience. He completed his BDS from Ragas Dental College and his MDS in Periodontics from Tamil Nadu Government Dental College under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.
A consultant periodontist and implantologist, he has published 63 research papers and serves as a Key Opinion Leader for Abbott India and Geistlich India. He is a faculty member for the Nobel Biocare Noble Fellow Implant Training Programme and actively conducts CDE programs at Rajan Dental Institute and Lifecare Academy of Continuing Education.
He serves as a postgraduate examiner for several universities. His clinical interests include cosmetic periodontal procedures, implant failure management, regenerative techniques, full-mouth rehabilitation, and guided implant surgery.
Dr. Muthukumar S.
Title: Unfolding Ridge Augmentation Techniques in Implantology - When, Where, Why and How?
He is a Professor of Periodontology and Implantology at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. He completed his BDS from Meenakshi Ammal Dental College under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and later earned his MDS and PhD in Implantology from Sri Ramachandra Institute.
A Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, he has over 27 years of teaching experience, more than 300 research citations, and is the first dentist in India to receive a Clinical PhD in Implantology as an independent scholar. He has delivered 75+ guest lectures and received multiple national awards for excellence in implant dentistry. His research interests include dental implants, perio-medicine, molecular markers, periodontal microbiology, perioplastic esthetic surgery, and regenerative periodontal therapy.

He is an Endodontist practicing in Chennai and currently serves as Professor & Head of the Department at Priyadarshini Dental College and Hospital. He completed his MDS in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 2004 and his BDS from Saveetha Dental College and Hospital in 1998.
His presentation traces the evolution of veneers from their inception by Charles Pincus in 1928 to today’s advanced porcelain veneers that deliver predictable esthetic outcomes. It reviews key clinical and laboratory parameters for successful veneer therapy, including case selection, tooth preparation, impression techniques, temporization, shade selection, and cementation, emphasizing minimally invasive yet highly effective smile enhancement.

A specialist in periodontal surgery, laser dentistry, regeneration, and implantology, he combines advanced clinical expertise with strong research credentials, including funded projects, patents, and over 50 scientific publications.
An award-winning academician and internationally trained laser specialist (RWTH Aachen University), Dr. Vamsi is dedicated to advancing periodontal care through innovation, education, and evidence-based practice.
Dr. Karthick S.

He completed his BDS from Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences (2012) and MDS in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics from Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital (2016). He also holds a Fellowship in Comprehensive Cosmetic Dentistry.
His interests include restorative and cosmetic dentistry and dental photography. He is an Executive Committee Member of Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry India and a member of American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), where he received the prestigious EVY Award for Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry Article of the Year.
A former Assistant Professor at Sri Ramachandra Dental College, he is currently a full-time practitioner at SV Dental Care and Director of Aspire Dental Academy, Chennai.
